2018. A series of large graphite drawings on top of mono-type prints of oil ink.
I had just started working as a custodian at the college I was attending. I often placed buckets to catch water under ceiling leaks and to vacuum puddles that made it past those. For that I feel impressed that man-made structures all over the world have such success at keeping rain from falling right through. It's both a moving comfort and nervous expectation for the ceiling to fall sometime.
